Multiple Spider and Varicose Veins Surrounded by Hemosiderin Deposits

PATIENTS: 3 Caucasian females, ranging in ages from 35 to 50 years old

MEDICAL HISTORY:
Multiple spider and varicose veins on their legs along with long-standing hemosiderin staining around the veins.

TREATMENT:
Each patient started using AMERIGEL® Care Lotion 1 week prior to Sclerotherapy. After Sclerotherapy (injection of Polidocanol, Ellman Surgitron, and Laser 1064 YAG Laser), the patients continued application of AMERIGEL Care Lotion 2-3 times daily for up to 6 weeks.

RESULTS:
The AMERIGEL Care Lotion reduced post-procedure bruising and resolved all hemosiderin staining in weeks.
